Services Coordinator

Talent Center is recruiting for its client, an international construction company that delivers high value workspaces and technical environments.

Manage and support the Business Units’ Building Services technical co-ordination, to ensure timely delivery of all technical output to client and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:
Review and Reporting on M+E subcontractors.
Mechanical and Electrical, services co-ordination.
Support Mechanical and Electrical Supply Chain pre-qualification, estimating, technical and commercial evaluations to meet current and future needs and expectations.

Key Tasks:
Ensure effective implementation of “right first time” technical delivery of project output.
Review and report on activities of M+E sub-contractors in relation to technical, programme, build ability and commercial areas.
Review weekly Progress Reports for Mechanical and Electrical sub contractors.
Chairing Mechanical and Electrical technical co-ordination meetings and producing minutes in a timely manner.
Ensure handover and commissioning programmes are in place on all projects and managed to achieve contract requirements.
Collating and review of M+E handover documentation on all projects.
Ensure Quality control of M+E installed works progressively clearing defects and supervising testing and commissioning.
Input into contract review as required.
Ensure disciplines in place for management of estimating and procurement on all technical activities during budgeting, quotation, tendering and post tender phases.
Develop relationships with consultants, end users clients and supply chain partnerships.
Liaising with and developing good working relationships with site managers / site personnel.
Knowledge generation re.all technical products incl. statutory and regulatory developments.
Attend tender launch and adjudication meetings as required.
Implement technical innovation and value creation in all contracts.
